Why Feedback Matters
PB Tradepost feedback helps buyers and sellers understand who they are dealing with. A trustworthy feedback system only works when members use it fairly, honestly, and for marketplace-related experiences.
Appropriate Reasons to Leave Feedback
Completed Transactions
- The item matched the listing description.
- Payment was completed as agreed.
- Shipping or delivery was handled appropriately.
- Communication was clear and professional.
- A dispute was handled fairly and in good faith.
Marketplace Conduct
- The buyer or seller followed through on a clear agreement.
- The member misrepresented an item, price, condition, or terms.
- The member failed to communicate after a firm deal was made.
- The member acted professionally even when a problem came up.
Inappropriate Reasons to Leave Feedback
Feedback should not be used as punishment for normal negotiation, personal disagreement, or forum conflict.
- Someone declined your offer or trade.
- Someone sold an item to another buyer before you made a firm agreement.
- You disagreed with someone in the forums.
- You dislike another member personally.
- A negotiation did not lead to a completed transaction.
- Someone gave you a low offer, asked too many questions, or changed their mind before a deal was finalized.
Feedback Moderation
PB Tradepost moderators may hide or remove feedback that appears false, retaliatory, abusive, unrelated to marketplace activity, or inconsistent with these standards.
Hidden feedback does not appear publicly and should not count toward reputation totals.
Best Practice
Keep feedback simple, factual, and focused on the transaction. A good feedback comment helps future members understand what actually happened.
